Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions battled back from a 14-point deficit to cut the lead to nine, but UAB Lady Blazers (5-4) claimed a 65-56 victory Friday night in the Bartow Arena.

Ajia Richardson scored a game-high with a season-high 12 points.

Charisse Carr chipped in 10 a piece.
UAPB (2-8) outscored the Lady Blazers 31-27 in the second half after being down at halftime 38-25.
UAPB shot 26-for-54 (48.1 %.) from the floor, going 2-for-9 (16.7 %) from three and 2-for-6 (33.3 %) from the free throw line.
UAB was 26-of-62 (40.3 %) from the floor, 8-for-28 (28.6 %) from beyond the arc, and 7-of-9 (77.8 %) from the line.
Janae Smith led the way with 25 points and Chelsee Black added 13 for the Lady Blazers.
UAPB is back on the hardwood, when they travel to Starkville, Miss. to face Mississippi St. Dec. 29, 7pm at the Humphrey Coliseum. Â
