Box Score STILLWATER, Okla. (Dec. 2) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Basketball team dropped a 90-45 contest to Oklahoma State, here Tuesday evening at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
UAPB (2-4) was led by
Ajia Richardson with a team high 13 points, followed by
Jazmyne Victorian with 10. Richardson led the Lady Lions on the boards with seven rebounds, while
Mollie Campbell pulled down six.
OSU (6-1) had four Cowgirls to score in double-figures with Roshunda Johnson, Brittany Atkins and Brittney Martin finishing with 13 points each for OSU, while Liz Donohoe scored a team high15 points to lead all scorers. Martin led the OSU on the boards with eight rebounds, while Johnson dished out a team high nine assists.
The Lady Lions trailed the Cowgirls 48-28 at the half as UAPB finished the first half shooting 19.4 percent (7-of-36), while OSU shot 55.9 percent (19-of-34).
UAPB finished the contest shooting 25.4 percent (17-of-67); whereas OSU shot 56.7 percent (38-of-67).
The Lady Lions will return to action on Saturday, December 5 as they will travel to Wichita, Kan., to take on Wichita State at the Charles Koch Arena in a 12:05 p.m.
