BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Oct. 15) - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Women's Basketball team was predicted to finished 10th in the 2014-2015 regular season, announced today by the Southwestern Athletic Conference, voted on by the conference head coaches and sports information directors.

Southern was predicted to win the regular season as they recorded 136 points, behind them was Texas Southern with 131 points and predicted to finish third was Prairie View A&M with 130 points.  Predicted to finish fourth was Jackson State with 102 points with Alabama State predicted to finish fifth with 98 points.  Alabama A&M tallied 68 points  for a predicted sixth place finish, just edging Mississippi Valley State for a seventh place finish, who received 65 points in the voting.  Grambling State was predicted to finish eighth with 63 points, followed by Alcorn State with 52 points for a ninth place finish.

UAPB will open its 2014-2015 campaign against the University of Cincinnati on Saturday, November 15 in a 2 p.m. start in the Cincinnati, Ohio.
