Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- The UAPB volleyball team fought hard but lost both of their matches on Saturday on the final day of the Southern Illinois-Edwardsville Tournament. The Lady Lions lost to SIUE 25-23, 25-14, 25-19 and Depaul 25-11, 25-21, 25-19.

In the opening match, UAPB (4-16) had four players with six kills apiece. Ashlie Jones, Whitney Harris, Ayanna Parker and Audrey Sherles all finished with six kills. Jordan Foyer had 24 assists and 11 digs, while Courtney Brand tallied 13 digs.

Jones also had six kills to lead the way in the loss to Depaul. Foyer added 16 assists and Breanna Stevenson finished with nine digs.

The Lady Lions return home to face Alcorn State on Tuesday night.
