Birmingham, Ala. - In game two of the three game weekend series between the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Samford University, saw the Bulldogs come out victorious, 8-2.

The Golden Lions got on the scoreboard first when Dwayne Hysmith doubled to left field that would score Kirby Campbell who drew a walk to lead off the inning. Hysmith would later come around to score on a single by Dylan Calhoun, to give UAPB a 2-0 lead, after two innings.

Samford would answer back in the fourth with one run. The Bulldogs also scored two runs in the sixth and five more runs in the eighth.

Hysmith was the man at the plate for the Golden Lions going 2-for-3, with one RBI and one run scored. Kyle Schwartz suffered the loss for the Golden Lions today. Schwartz put in six innings of work, while striking out eight.

Tomorrow's wrap-up game has the first pitch set for 1 PM.  The Golden Lions will return home on April 23^rd, as they play host to Braves of Alcorn State. The game is set for a 3 PM start.
