PINE BLUFF. – With seniors Rachel Hornbuckle and Rachels Tims being honored on Senior Night, the UAPB volleyball team ended the regular season with a "bang" taking a three set shut out against neighboring Arkansas-Monticello 3-0 in a non-conference match Monday evening in H.O. Clemmons Arena. The Lady Lions swept UAM 25-16, 25-19, 25-21 to improve to 12-21.

UAPB junior Ashlie Jones led the Lady Lions with 10 kills and 10 digs. Audrey Sherles added six kills and four blocks. Hornbuckle and Jordan Foyer each added four kills, while Courtney Brand led UAPB on defense with 16 digs.

Tori Bozzo led UAM with eight kills, while Tasha Evans added seven kills. Tori Bozzo led the defense with nine digs.

The Lady Lions will take their 2-game winning streak into the Southwestern Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament which is scheduled for November 23 & 24 in Jackson, Miss.
