Box Score Pine Bluff, AR- Tonight the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Lady Lions handed the Devilettes of Mississippi Valley State their seventh loss of the season in a three to one advantage in volleyball action at the H.O. Clemmons Arena.
For first year head coach
Kyetta May, instilling her winning attitude and competitive mindset is showing in the play of her meshing collective of young ladies. Valley was able to get the advantage in the first game by a score of 25-21. But after a small break in between games, the Lady Lions showed they were able to adjust and take care of business.
The Lady Lions proved they owned the court by winning the next three games 25-22, 25-18, 25-15. The Lady Lions were led by sophomore
Audrey Sherles who asserted her dominance by racking up 22 kills on 34 attempts for an overall game hitting percentage of .526. Sophomore middle blocker
Ashlie Jones chipped in 10 kills with 4 blocks, 1 solo and 4 assisted.

Eleni-James Becton for 57 assist, 28, 24 and 5 respectively. Defensively, the Lady Lions were able to hold the Devilettes to a .145 hitting percentage for the night.
Up next for the Lady Lions is a home contest against the Lady Tigers of Texas Southern. The first serve is set for 6 PM.
