BATON ROUGE, La.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff women's basketball team lost a 62-48 decision to the Southern Jaguars on Saturday.
 
SU led by three points at 25-22 going into intermission before taking a commanding lead in the second half of play.
 
The loss drops the Lady Lions to 0-23 overall and 0-12 in conference play. Chigozianyi Okumabua led all Lady Lions scorers with 18 points.
 
UAPB will face Alcorn State on Monday at 5:00 pm to close out a two-game road swing.
