Box Score Pine Bluff, AR- Tonight, the Lady Lions played host to the Lady Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen College at the H.O. Clemmons Arena. Head coach
Nate Kilbert, in only his second home contest has notched his second victory in as many games.
The Lady Lions handed the Lady Magicians their sixth loss of the season, by a score of 87-57.
Lakendra Marsh led all scorers with 20 points on seven of ten shooting. Marsh was also four of five from behind the arch for the Lady Lions. Senior forward Chigoziany Okwumbua added 19 points; Okwumbua also went five for five from the charity stripe.
The Lady Lions had two other double digit scorers in tonight's contest; Cassidy Wright chipped in 15 points with five assists, while
Christina Lasane contributed 10 points, respectively.
The Lady Magicians were led by NaTasha Farr with 21 points and Miranda AbdulMansour poured in 19 points for the Lady Magicians. AbdulMansour knocked down four three pointers for LeMoyne- Owen, all coming in the second half of play.
Next up for the Lady Lions will be a December 8
th match-up against the Lady Tigers of the University of Missouri. This is a road contest that is scheduled for 5:30 PM tip-off.
