ITTA BENA, Miss.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions basketball team dropped a 92-50 decision to Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday night in what was the SWAC opener for both teams.
 
Jenise Gentry led UAPB in scoring tallying 13 points and six rebounds. Arkansas-Pine Bluff struggled from the field shooting just 27 percent.
 
The loss drops the Lady Lions to 0-12 for the season and 0-1 in SWAC play, The Lady Lions return to the hardwood this weekend as they travel to face Alabama A&M and Alabama State respectively.
