PINE BLUFF, Ark.- The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions Football Team wrapped up Spring drills on Saturday with the Annual Black and Gold game at Golden Lions Stadium. The contest ended in a 14 all tie with both squads playing stingy defense throughout the afternoon.

“We showed a lot of improvement over the course of Spring drills,” said UAPB Head Football Coach Monte Coleman. “Offensively we executed well and defensively we had guys flying around making plays all over the field today.”

The Golden Lions will play their season opener against Langston University on Saturday, September 3rd at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. Kickoff has been slated for 5:00 pm.
