The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff head football coach Alonzo Hampton named Dimitri Hill as offensive line coach and run game coordinator, bringing a strong background in offensive line development and run-game design to the Golden Lions staff.

In his role at UAPB, Hill oversees the offensive line unit and coordinates the Golden Lions’ run game. He is responsible for developing a physical, disciplined front while contributing to weekly game planning, protection schemes, and overall offensive strategy.

Hill arrives at UAPB following his most recent position at Syracuse University, where he served as assistant offensive line coach. While at Syracuse, he assisted in opponent preparation, including run-game design and pass protection schemes, while also producing scouting reports and leading scout team operations.

Prior to Syracuse, Hill coached tight ends at Delaware State University from 2023–24, where he contributed to offensive game planning, practice scripting, and special teams coordination. During his tenure, he helped develop All-MEAC performer EJ Core, who totaled 45 receptions for 430 yards and six touchdowns.

Hill previously served at Bluefield State College (2022–23) as offensive line and tight ends coach, run game coordinator, and video coordinator. There, he helped guide the program to its highest rushing output since 2001 while developing a young offensive line unit that allowed just 19 sacks on more than 350 pass attempts.

From 2020–22, Hill was the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at ASA Miami, where he led the development of the program’s rushing attack while also managing recruiting efforts across key regions.

He began his full-time coaching career at Navarro College (2019–20) as assistant defensive line coach and video coordinator, helping the program capture a conference championship while contributing to scouting and player development.

A former standout offensive lineman, Hill was a four-year starter at Delaware State, earning All-MEAC honors and serving as a team captain. He went on to play professionally with the Cedar Rapids Titans, starting at multiple offensive line positions.

Hill earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communications/marketing from Delaware State University in 2016.
