The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff athletics department has named Aliyah Hill the Student-Athlete Development Coordinator. Hill brings a dynamic combination of creativity, leadership, and dedication to supporting student-athletes' success. With over five years of experience in sports media and marketing, Hill has a proven ability to create compelling content, develop innovative strategies, and build meaningful connections.
Previously, Hill served as the Associate Athletic Director for Public Relations and Social Media at Mississippi Valley State University, where she led media campaigns for 17 intercollegiate sports programs. Her impact extended beyond media relations; she played a crucial role in enhancing the university's brand and driving engagement through photography, videography, and strategic collaborations. Additionally, Hill was instrumental in student-athlete development, supporting the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) by organizing initiatives that empowered student-athletes and fostered leadership growth. She worked closely with student-athletes to ensure their holistic development, offering guidance and resources to help them succeed both on and off the field.
Hill's marketing foundation was strengthened during her time as a Marketing Regional Development Coordinator at America's First Federal Credit Union. In this role, she managed over 500 benefit partnerships and created financial education initiatives in the Birmingham area.
A proud graduate of the University of Alabama, Hill earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Journalism and Creative Media. Her passion for amplifying voices, building communities, and empowering individuals through creative and strategic efforts fits perfectly with her new role at UAPB.
