Biography
2008-09. Defended her crown by finishing 1st in the 2008 Pacific Coast Conference 5k Championship and received California Junior College All American honors. Came in 1st at the Foothill Conference Track Meet in the 1500m and 2nd for both the 5k and 10k. Personal Best: 18:16/5k.

Outlook: Karla may be small but has the heart of a Golden Lion. Her times far exceed previous SWAC Championships and will give the distance program a boost . She will bring dedication, discipline and a willingness to work hard and the desire to continue to improve.
