2008-09: After transferring from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Maryland, Moses set the SWAC on fire by establishing top competitive times in the 8k cc races during the season as well as winning the SWAC CC Championships with a time of 24:49. He then battled the flu while running in 4 events at the SWAC Indoor Championships; mile (4:32); 5k (15:56); 3k (9:27); 1200m (3:10) leg on the DMR. At the SWAC Outdoor Championships Moses took 7th for the 1500m (4:05) and 4th in the 5000m (15:54). Personal Best: 24:49/8k...3:58/1500m...1:56/800m

Outlook: To be better than the previous year is Moses’ desire this coming season. Along with a new class of recruits he should get his wish. No doubt he will be the leader on a team that has only one returning athlete (Stephen Kipkurui) but his leadership will wipe away any questions about the new talent. He will groom them to a point of parity amongst them all. “Moses got a good look at the SWAC Conference last year, especially in track. Although sickness played a role in his shortcoming he is not using it as an excuse but as a margin of rule towards staying on top in his events. He knows that his training needs another level and has shown this summer he is willing to sacrifice for the betterment of himself and the team.”- Coach Pittman
