JuWan Parker joins the academic staff for his first official year in the fall of 2020 after completing his Master’s program, where he served as a graduate assistant for the department for two years.
Parker currently oversees academics and all academic related tasks for baseball, softball, volleyball, and men and women’s track teams.
Parker is a proud and homegrown product of the university who, during his undergraduate and graduate tenure, was a highly decorated scholar and athlete who took pride in graduating with high honors and medaling in several individual events to accompany his host of relay medals.
The Lake Village, Ark. native, is a graduate from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Leisure and Recreation in 2017 and obtained his Master of Education in Physical Education in the fall of 2019. He is a member of N4A (National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals), where he serves on various community service subcommittees within the organization.
