Dee Wallace has been appointed as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's basketball team, as announced by head coach Solomon Bozeman.

"Coach Dee brings a wealth of experience to our staff, having coached at various levels," said Bozeman. "He is a highly knowledgeable and effective recruiter, and his strong work ethic and commitment to serving others will undoubtedly elevate our program to new heights."

In addition to his coaching background, Wallace has an impressive track record as a college player and is recognized as a skilled recruiter across the country.

Before joining the Golden Lions, Wallace was with Houston Christian in Houston, Texas for the 2023-24 season and with Cal State East Bay for the 2022-23 season.

Wallace previously served at Dominican and Humboldt State after working as an assistant coach at Pearl River Community College in Mississippi during the 2019-20 season, during which the Wildcats clinched the NJCAA Region XVIII title and held a No. 1 national ranking leading into the NJCAA National Tournament.

Prior to his time at Pearl River, Wallace was an assistant coach and the junior varsity head coach at Adams State University in Colorado for the 2018-19 season.

Wallace has also worked at Cal State Bakersfield as the Director of Player Development under Coach Rod Barnes and as a Graduate Assistant at Cal State Monterey Bay.

The Oxford, Mississippi native began his college basketball career at the University of Nebraska-Omaha before transferring to Cal State Bakersfield.

In 2015, he was inducted into both the Roadrunner Society Hall of Fame and the CSUB Golden Circle Hall of Fame. Â
