#UAPBFootball Set For Black & Gold Spring Game

PINE BLUFF, AR. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff head football coach Alonzo Hampton and his staff has set the tone as spring practice wraps up their final practice with a scrimmage.

The Golden Lions fans will get their first glimpse of the 2023 version of the UAPB's football program Saturday during the annual Black & Gold Spring Game at Simmons Bank Field. Saturday kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m. kickoff and admission is free for all fans.

GAME FORMAT
Hampton and his staff will split the Golden Lions into two teams for a special format that will pair Team Black versus Team White. As part of the roster distribution, all offensive players will be in white uniforms Saturday with the defense in Black as Team will occupy the visitor sideline, while Team White will be located the home side of the field. The first half will be scrimmage as a real live game situation with a 15 minute clock for the first two quarters. The second half will be a 15 minute running clock.

CONCESSION STANDS OPEN THROUGHOUT STADIUM
Aramark concession items will be available for purchase on the east side of the stadium.

BECOME A NEW SEASON TICKET HOLDER
There's not a better time to become a new season ticket holder in the exciting season ahead that will feature five exciting home games. Representatives from the Golden Lions Ticket Office will be on site Saturday as season tickets are now available in all sections of Simmons Bank Field beginning for as low as $90.00 a seat.
