FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff track and field team opened their indoor season on Friday at the Arkansas Invitational at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Ross Walrond registered the best individual finish on the day for the Golden Lions as the freshman placed eighth in the 300 meter run with a time of 34.34.
In the Men's 4X400 meter relay, the team of Mohamed Soumare, Ross Walrond,
Che Rochford,
Stephen Lane competed at a high level to place eighth with a time 3:16.27.
10 Golden Lions recorded a new personal best in Friday's event.
