The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's volleyball team is nearly a month away from the first serve of the season. The Lady Lions' 2022 slate will be led by new head coach Gabrielle Floyd, who has announced the schedule for the fall season.

The Lady Lions will open their season on Aug. 26 in a tournament at Southeast Missouri State before hosting Arkansas Tech at home on Aug. 29.

UAPB will hit the road on Aug. 31 against Henderson State to begin their road test which features contests against Quincy University and Arkansas Tech (Aug. 9), and tournaments at Florida Atlantic (Sep. 2) and Memphis (Sep. 16-17).

Closing out the first road challenge, the Lady Lions will open conference play at Southern on Sep. 25, followed by Alcorn State on Sep. 26.

UAPB will return home to host Texas Southern and Prairie View in conference play on Oct. 2-3.

In the first round of the SWAC Cluster, UAPB will travel to Huntsville, AL. to battle against Florida A&M, Mississippi Valley State, and host Alabama A&M on Oct. 9-10.

UAPB returns home on Oct. 17 to face Louisiana-Monroe, followed by three conference matchups against Southern (Oct. 23), Alcorn State (Oct. 24), and Grambling State (Oct. 27).

Wrapping up the second SWAC Cluster, the Lady Lions will face Jackson State, Bethune-Cookman, and Alabama State on Oct. 30-31 in Prairie View, TX.

UAPB welcomes UAM to H.O. Clemmons Arena on Nov. 4 for the final home game of the season.

The Lady Lions will close out the season on the road at Prairie View and Texas Southern on Nov. 6-7, followed by Grambling on Nov. 11.

The 2021 SWAC Volleyball Championship will be held Nov. 18-20 in Houston, TX.

Before the regular season gets underway, UAPB will travel to Monticello, AR to battle UAM and Little Rock in exhibition matchups on Aug. 20.
