After a season-long stretch, playing eight of their last nine games away, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball team is back on the road this weekend as they travel to take on Grambling St. at Wilbert Ellis Field.

Friday's game will begin at 6 p.m. CDT, and Saturday's first pitch takes place at 3 p.m. CDT. The series finale on Sunday will begin at 1 p.m. CDT.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams.

The Golden Lions is coming off a conference matchup versus Southern University, where the Jaguars won two games to one.

The Golden Lions is led by junior Kacy Higgins, who ranks 14th overall in the conference batting .326 with two home runs and 11 RBIs.

Senior Nick Kreutzer ranks sixth in the conference in home runs with six.  Freshman Dante Leach tied for sixth in the conference in triples with three, followed by sophomore Karsten Vasquez tied for seventh in the conference with nine doubles. 

Grambling St. enters this weekend series coming off two games to one loss to Prairie View A&M.  The Tigers are led by Jahmoi Percival who's batting .363 at the plate with four home runs.
