Stephenville, TX. - The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball team fell to Tarleton St., 23-1, on Tuesday evening at the Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex.
The Golden Lions had chances to score first in the top of the third inning with bases loaded but didn't take advantage of the rally. The Texan Riders wasted little time getting going offensively in the bottom of the third inning and never looked back as they clinched game one.

Braelin Hence led UAPB at the plate, going 1-for-2 with a stolen base. The Golden Lions had four players to finish with one hit apiece.
UAPB will be back in action Wednesday, March 3, for game two at 2 p.m.
