#UAPBBaseball Falls to Jackson St.

Jackson, MS. - The University of Arkansas Baseball team fell to Jackson St. 13-2 in game two of the three-game series Saturday afternoon at Braddy Field.  

Down 3-0 in the top of the fourth inning, UAPB offense got going with a James Conner single to center field, then advance to second next at-bat after sophomore Timothy Martin got walked.  Sophomore Brandon Simon recorded his fifth RBI of the season with a double to center field cut the lead to one (3-2).  

The Tigers would add on secure runs in the bottom of the seventh and eighth inning to clinch game two.  

Simon led the UAPB at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI's.   

The Golden Lions will hit the diamond again Sunday at noon for game three of the non-conference series.
