Terron Armstead and the New Orleans Saints nearly erased a 17-point halftime deficit, but lost at Philadelphia 24-21 Sunday in NFL Week 14 action.
 
Armstead returned to the lineup today after missing the last two games due to being on the Covid-19 reserve list. He helped spark the comeback as the Saints scored touchdowns on their first two possessions of the third quarter to cut the deficit to 17-14.
 
Following a Philadelphia score in the fourth quarter, a New Orleans touchdown with 1:24 remaining cut the deficit to three points again. However, the Saints could not recover the onside kick and the Eagles ran out the clock.
 
Taysom Hill passed for nearly 300 yards and threw touchdown passes to Emmanuel Sanders and Jared Cook, as the Saints gained 358 yards total offense as their nine-game winning streak came to an end.
 
New Orleans returns to action next Sunday, hosting the Kansas City Chiefs at 3:25 p.m. on CBS. Another former Golden Lion, Jamie Gillan and the Cleveland Browns hosts Baltimore Monday at 7:15 p.m. on ESPN.
