NEW ORLEANS – The University of Arkansas At Pine Bluff baseball team lost to Jackson State 14-4 in seven innings Thursday in an elimination game of the 2019 SWAC Baseball Tournament.

Justin Robinson had three hits and Ricardo Sanchez added two to lead the Golden Lions.

The Lions got on the board in the third. Jarficur Parker led off with a single to center, and later advanced to second on a muffed throw. Davion White was then hit by pitch before Robinson's RBI single to left scored Parker as White advanced to second. With one out, Sanchez singled and advanced to third on a fielding error as White and Robinson scored to cut the deficit to 6-3.

UAPB added a run in the fifth. With two outs, Robinson doubled to center to lead off the inning and advanced to second on a groundout. Sanchez then singled up the middle to score Robinson.
