The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball team lost both games of Friday doubleheader to Southern at the Torii Hunter Baseball Complex at Bill Jones Field.

The teams will conclude the series Sunday at 1 p.m.

Game 1 - Southern 10, Golden Lions 4: UAPB scored single runs in four straight innings, but couldn't put together the big inning to close the gap on Southern.
Nick Kreutzer went 3-for-4 with two RBI in the opener to lead UAPB. He had an RBI single in the fifth, and an RBI groundout in the seventh.
Bryce Roesch drove in the other two runs with sacrifice fly and an RBI single in going 1-for-2.

Game 2 – Southern 21, Golden Lions 2 (7 innings): Austin Krzeminski's two-run homer was the only scoring for UAPB in the nightcap.
