PINE BLUFF, Ark.- Junior outfielder/pitcher Tyler Hill joins the UAPB Golden Lions from Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas. A native of Arvada (CO), Hill played alongside current teammate Eddie Williams at Seward as the two guided their school to its second ever Division I Junior College World Series appearance. A 1st Team All-Region and All-Conference selection, Hill and the Saints finished the season ranked 6th in the country.
Why did you decide to attend UAPB?
I like what I heard from the coaches and the direction the team was going.
What was it like to go to the D1 Junior College World Series?
It's a once in a lifetime experience, and the closest alot of players will get to pro ball.
What kind of TV shows do you enjoy watching?
The Office, Sportscenter, anything with sports.
Who is your favorite MLB player? Why?
Carlos Gonzalez because he's a Rookie, and he goes all out everyday and produces.
Being from Colorado did you know that Coach MacMillan's dad was a 2-time National Champion and a representative of the DU (Denver University) Hall of Fame? If yes, what sport did he play?
I'm going to say hockey.

Tim Tebow because he is the "Mile High Messiah".
What is your favorite NCAA football team?
University of Nebraska...my brother played there.
What has been your favorite part thus far about going to UAPB?
I enjoy being around the team. Everyone is working hard, and it makes it fun coming out to the field everyday when the team is like that.

General Studies with an emphasis in Business
What influence did your parents have on you as a student athlete?
My parents have been a big influence on me my whole life. They support me in everything I do.
