UA Pine Bluff Athletics

Arthur Thomas is a native of Lake Providence, Louisiana, and a graduate of The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.  Thomas is a former thrower of the UAPB Men's Track and Field Team. Now entering his 3rd year of coaching throws, he has produced SWAC champions in men’s javelin, men’s discus, women’s shot put and also two female and one male conference championship's most outstanding field performer. While coaching at UAPB, Thomas helped Sireta Roach break school and conference records in the shot put while qualifying for the NCAA National Championship Prelims in 2015.
