UAPB takes two the hard way

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.-In softball action the Lady Lions (1-9) took on the Golden Suns (13-7) of Arkansas Tech in double hitter. In game the Lady Lions lost 10-0 to Arkansas Tech. The Lady Lions were shut out as Casey Hammons of the Golden Suns struck out 8 batters on her way to no-hitter.
 
In the second game Lady Lions managed to score three runs on three hits as they lost 11-3 to Golden Suns in the second half of the double-dip. Markia Herron, Taylor Smith and Kiana Pollard registered the three hits for the Lady Lions.
