Burke Named All-Academic by USTFCCCA

Pine Bluff. AR – Senior Briana Burke, of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff women's track and field team was selected All-Academic by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced by the association on Friday, July, 28.

In order to be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and have either finished in the NCAA top-96 of their event during the indoor season or advanced to NCAA West Prelims during the outdoor season.

This is the first All-Academic honor for Burke adding to a laundry list of accomplishments received by the Dallas, Texas, native during her junior campaign.

Burke became UAPB's fifth athlete in the last three years to qualify and compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships under the leadership of Head Coach, Christopher McCoy.
