MEMPHIS -- The UAPB men's cross country team finished 23rd at the Rhodes College Invitational over the weekend. The meet featured 27 teams and nearly 200 runners.
Matthew Agard was the Golden Lions top finisher and the only UAPB runner to cross the line in the top 50. Agard finished 39th with a time of 27:52. Jacob Orozco was the next fastest UAPB finisher, coming in 144th at 32:40. Justin Cooper and Andrew Bingham crossed the line together in 150th and 151st place with times of 33:14 and 33:17 respectively, while Juwan Parker rounded out the group in 170th at 41:07.
The Golden Lions will be back on the course on Saturday, competing in the Watson Ford Invitational in Clinton, Miss.
