BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's Jim Ploeger as the SWAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Ploeger posted a complete game in UAPB's 9-1 win over Southern to help claim the SWAC three-game series, 2-1, over the weekend. He finished with eight strikeouts giving up five hits and one earned run.
