Baton Rouge, La- Over the weekend, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff men's and women's outdoor track team participated in the LSU Relays. This was the second meet of the outdoor season for the UAPB track team.

In the men's 1600 meter relay, the Golden Lions team of Ansumana Konneh, Jerrell Wilson, Andrew Bingham, and Matthew Agard came in second place posting a time of 3:29.28, in a field consisting of teams from LSU, Akron, Tulane, Mississippi Valley, Alcorn State, and Arkansas State.

The Lady Lions Ninfa Barnard, in the women's 800 meter, placed second with a time 2:11.34. Laura Carleton of LSU finished first in front of Banard by only a few hundredths of a second with a time 2:11.08.
